This is probably our most asked question. It all depends on the time spent at each winery, although we have all of your tastings pre-booked it’s no problem at all to make a quick call ahead and vary tasting times to suit your pace. We never rush you out of a tasting if we’re running a bit late for the next one, your enjoyment at your own pace is what it’s all about. The only thing we have to be a bit strict on is finishing a morning tour on time as we often have an afternoon tour following. As a guide, based on our experience, we usually visit three wineries on a half day and five on a full day.
Yes you can however, there’s a couple of things to keep in mind. A lot of the wineries have introduced a tasting fee which isn’t covered in our tour cost. The wineries we visit won’t charge you for tastings. If you know of a nice winery that’s great, if you leave it to us to choose we hope you find more great wineries you would have otherwise never have found. If you really want to visit a particular winery you have in mind we can go there but if it’s on a road unsuitable for our Cadillacs we won’t be able to visit.
Not really, we set these times to work in with winery opening times also ,If we change a 1:30pm start to a 12:30pm start we’re no longer able to do a half day morning for someone else. If you really need to vary times please call us and we’ll see what we can do.
Yes this is possible, but, you need to be aware that the more time spent dining means less time wine tasting. One of the reasons we start our afternoon tours at 1:30pm is to allow enough time for you to have lunch before we start the tour. Wine tasting on an empty stomach isn’t advisable.
A bit of rain isn’t too much of a problem as the convertible has an electrically operated roof to keep you dry if the weather closes in. If the forecast looks like there’s little chance of being able to enjoy the convertible we’ll be in contact with you to let you know we'll be substituting the limo or sedan if they're available. If the weather is going to be too awful to do a Cadillac wine tour we’ll be in contact and if we need to cancel a full refund will be given.
